Professional Labs and Workshops in Producing, Directing, and Writing for Film.
Winter classes will start January 15th. Eight-week intensive workshops explore the craftsmanship involved in Producing, Directing and Writing for Film. All lab and workshop participants bring their own projects to be developed by their peers and by working professionals. Tutorials and internships will also be available.
An impressive list of instructors for the fall will include Gregory Mosher - Producer & Director "Glengarry Glen Ross," Roger Paradiso - Executive Producer "City by the Sea," and Mike Tadross - Executive Producer "Die Hard with a Vengeance."
Gregory Mosher is an award-winning film and theatre director, producer and writer. His recent film, "The Prime Gig," starred Vince Vaughn, Ed Harris and Julia Ormond. He has worked on new plays with such writers as David Mamet, Tennessee Williams, and Arthur Miller. Among the hundreds of artists he has worked with are Robin Williams, Steve Martin, Mike Nichols, Jessica Lange, Alec Baldwin, William Macy, William Hurt, Jack Lemmon, Matthew Broderick, and John Leguizamo.
Roger Paradiso's recent production "City by the Sea" starring Robert DeNiro, Frances McDormand and directed by Michael Caton-Jones will be distributed by Warner Brothers. Mr. Paradiso was also the Co-Producer on "The Thomas Crown Affair", starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo, directed by John McTiernan, for United Artists as well as "At First Sight", starring Val Kilmer and Mira Sorvino, directed by Irwin Winkler, for MGM. "Looping" was Paradiso's second Short Film as a Director. It was an award-winning Short that was screened at Festivals around the world. "The Dream Conspiracy", his first Short Film, was sold to the A&E Network after its Premiere at the IFP Market in New York. He is currently developing "Tony 'N Tina's Wedding", as his first feature as a Director.
Mike Tadross is a veteran of over 20 years of film experience. His production "Rollerball" was a remake of a classic starring Chris Klein, LL CoolJ and Jean Reno for MGM Pictures. He also Executive Produced "The Thomas Crown Affair," another remake of a classic film, for United Artists. Michael's other credits include; "The Devil's Advocate" starring Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves and the action hit "Eraser," starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Vanessa Williams both for Warner Brothers Pictures. In 1995 Mr. Tadross produced the Twentieth Century Fox film "Die Hard with a Vengeance," starring Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson. It was the biggest worldwide box office hit of the year.
